Tarpon Springs, FL (Dec. 21, 2022) – Big Dan’s Car Wash has announced the grand opening of their newest Florida location in Tarpon Springs. Located at 39522 US Hwy 19 N., this newly constructed exterior express car wash is the company’s fifth site to open in Florida in 2022 and the company’s tenth site overall. This is the first site that offers onsite fuel for wash customers. “Having previously been in the convenience store and fuel distribution business most of my career, the opportunity to add fuel to our wash customer’s experience just made sense. When you can save people time and money, it doesn’t get much better than that. Customers will find that our Unlimited Car Wash Club and fuel prices are going to be some of the best in the market,” stated Jarrett Shadday, chairman of Big Dan’s Car Wash.
Big Dan’s is open seven days a week and winter hours of operation are 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. In addition to free washes as part of their grand opening, the company announced that it is offering Unlimited Car Wash Club memberships for $5 a month for the first three months through Jan. 14. “Central Florida is going to be one of our company’s biggest and strongest markets. The population and economic growth in Florida work nicely with our strategic growth plan, and you just can’t beat the weather in Florida. As we were looking for the right market to introduce our first express wash with onsite fuel, Tarpon Springs quickly rose to the top of the list.” noted Jay Shadday, president of Big Dan’s Car Wash.
According to chief operating officer, Tripp Flournoy, the Tarpon Springs location boasts the company’s longest tunnel at 165’. “We make a significant investment in state-of-the-art equipment and technology and all our tunnels produce a great looking car, but the quality of this tunnel is unmatched in this area. Additionally, it has two dedicated members only lanes to provide fast and efficient access to the wash, as well as a lane for single wash customers, and 30+ vacuums. As an exterior express wash, we strive to offer added value to our customers by providing numerous free amenities. Those include wide and narrow vacuum heads, compressed air, interior and glass cleaner, rubber mat washing stations, mat beaters, microfiber towels, and air fresheners,” said Flournoy.
From Dec. 14 – Jan. 14 Big Dan’s will be offering Unlimited Car Wash Club memberships for just $5 a month for the first three months. During the second month, Unlimited Car Wash Club memberships will be $5 for the first two months, and in our third month of operation we will be offering Unlimited Car Wash Club memberships for $5 for the first month. With each grand opening, the company selects a local charity and donates the first $5,000 in proceeds. The recipient will be announced in January.
In addition to the grand opening promotions, the wash will be giving away two Unlimited Wash Club Memberships for the Big Dan’s Ceramic Special for a year, items from Big Dan’s SWAG bag, and will announce details of their great gas giveaway in January.
When fully staffed, the wash will have a combination of 20 full-time and part-time employees and will offer yearly tuition assistance and student loan debt repayment to qualifying employees. The Shadday Family Office, the principal owner of Big Dan’s Car Wash, has previously operated 20 car washes and launched the Big Dan’s brand in December of 2020.
